Machined from 7075-T73 plate, these flanges are hard anodized to a 40 micron Type III coating at controlled bath temperature, so bore and bolt positions are compensated before coating and land on print after it. The result is a wear-resistant electrical-insulating surface stable in dimensional assembly.
Sealing surfaces are masked to bare-metal tolerance when conductivity is required; coating thickness and adhesion are tested on witness coupons from every load.
