Last month, our facility welcomed more than 120 clients and industry partners for an annual Customer Appreciation Day focused on transparency, technical exchange, and collaborative problem-solving. The event was designed to give purchasing managers, quality engineers, and production leads a direct look at how our machining operations run day to day, from CNC setup through final inspection.
Attendees toured the shop floor in small groups led by lead machinists and quality supervisors. The walkthrough covered our five-axis machining centers, CMM measurement workflows, and material handling procedures. Several attendees noted that seeing the tool path verification process firsthand helped clarify how we maintain tolerances within plus or minus 0.0005 inches on complex aerospace components.
A technical workshop session followed the tours, where our applications engineering team presented case studies on recent projects involving titanium alloy machining and tight-tolerance hydraulic manifold fabrication. Participants asked detailed questions about fixturing strategies, coolant delivery methods, and changeover efficiency. The discussions revealed common pain points across multiple industries, particularly around reducing non-value-added time during batch production runs.
The afternoon included a live demonstration of our latest metrology equipment and a one-on-one scheduling opportunity for clients to discuss upcoming project requirements with our sales and engineering staff. Feedback collected through structured surveys indicated that 89 percent of attendees found the event useful for their operational planning, and many requested follow-up consultations on specific part geometries and material selection.
We will publish additional technical content from the workshop sessions in the coming weeks, including a detailed breakdown of the fixturing solutions discussed during the titanium machining case study. Clients who attended can request a copy of the presentation materials by contacting our business development team.
